GEF 2010

The Global Electronics Forum is the industry’s most prestigious invitation-only interpersonal event. Global Heads of  Technology, Design, R&D, and Procurement  can meet with electronic component, embedded systems, semiconductor, software and service suppliers to define effective solutions for electronic device design and production.

Growth has come from all segments of the electronics market, from cell phones and digital cameras to computers and peripherals. Other primary areas triggering the mounting demand for electronic components and embedded systems include the rising proportion of electronics in automobiles and increasing levels of automation spanning all major application areas from industrial to medical.

Overall, multiple-market push, global competitiveness and the ever-shortening life cycle of electronic gadgets will continue to drive technological development in 2009 and beyond. In addition, environment-friendly manufacturing and the delivery of products that are safer at the end of their product life cycle have become essential and in many cases, compulsory to technology-business competitiveness.

These collective trends and requirements have led to the need for an international forum to not only address these issues at the highest level, but also act as a vital platform and catalyst for innovative solutions, future collaborations and lucrative partnerships. This event will be co-located in with our 6th annual Global Semiconductor Forum to maximise networking opportunities
